Reach for the Sky

The Callanish stones are located on the west side of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

I used a low viewpoint to emphasise the height of the stones, in fact I think that the camera was sitting on the ground. That is one of the benefits of a camera with which you look down into the viewfinder.

Taken with a Rollieflex Gx medium format camera with a fixed 80mm lens and with Kodak Tmax 400 film developed in Prescysol and printed on Foma warm tone paper, which was developed in Neutol WA developer.
